Andy Brewster

Andy was born and raised in the great state of South Carolina or “God’s country” as he likes to call it. He met his wife, Lena, on the first day of sixth grade at Lakeside Middle School in Anderson, SC. After attending Faulkner University and getting married in April of 2007 Andy and Lena moved to Greenville, SC and worked with the Augusta Road church of Christ for seven years.

In June of 2014 Andy, Lena and Riley, their daughter, moved to Rock Hill, SC to begin to work with the Charlotte Avenue church of Christ. In addition to their their daughter Riley, Andy and Lena have a son, James W. Brewster, who is now waiting for them in Abraham’s bosom. They both long for the day when they can be not only with James, but also with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Brewster's also have three dogs (Obi, Solo, and Chewie - all named for Star Wars characters) that keep life interesting at the Brewster house.

Andy considers himself blessed to have worked with the youth at the Augusta Road congregation and now to work with the congregation at Charlotte Avenue. He also enjoys coaching the Brewtown Bruisers (his fantasy football team), playing golf (poorly) and taking walks around the neighborhood with Lena. Andy's favorite passage is Matthew 5:14-16.
